Just 2 More Sleeps!

In just 2 days we will be on that plane to bring our precious Khloe home! Thanks to EVERYONE who "chipped-in" and helped us along the way... You are ALL such a blessing! We ask that you continue to lift us up in prayer as we travel to our daughter...that God would prepare her heart and knit it together with ours. That she will quickly learn how very, VERY loved she is by each one of us, and that her grieving will be minimal. Please pray for everyone's safety and that we all stay healthy throughout our entire trip. We are so excited that our time is finally here! My sister, Kami, will be keeping our blog posts up for us during our travels, so feel free to follow along on family blog, here.

Drumroll Please.....

Wow...this was more complicated than I thought! ;) With SO many prizes to draw for, and making sure that no one got their own donation, I had a little switching-around/re-draws to do, but it all worked out fairly in the end, thanks to Random.org I numbered all the prizes and all the entries for the raffle, and then let Random do the picking/matching. A couple of very lucky (BLESSED!) winners even won their 1st choice! I wish I had a prize for EVERY person who supported us in this fundraiser. All of the prayers and encouragement have been such a blessing, and we sincerely thank you all for your support!

WOW...thanks to EVERYONE who helped to make our fundraiser a success! We had a total of 443 entries to our raffle and we raised nearly $2800 including the mail-in donations. We are still in awe of the kindness of everyone who has reached out to help us. We cannot seem to find the words that adequately describe our gratefulness to each of you... many of whom are complete strangers and we have never met. We pray that God blesses each of you for your generosity and returns the blessing back unto you TEN FOLD!

I'm sorry to keep you all waiting, but I have a few errands to run and a doctor's appointment to make yet this morning, but I PROMISE to have the winners listed here by this evening. With so many entries, it has taken a bit longer to tally everything up... but I WILL post them this evening, so stay tuned!! :)

I want to thank EACH and every one of you who donated to our fundraiser. I will be drawing names for the raffle prizes tomorrow. For some reason, I had my Chip-In widgit set wrong, and it ended sooner than it was supposed to. I know I told everyone it would be open through midnight tonight...but it ended at 2am last night. I received a few emails from people who still wanted to donate, so since we are still short on funds, I added a new widget. It will be open for our remaining week here. However, the raffle will only be open until noon on Monday the 3rd, after which I will be drawing names for the prizes as scheduled. If you still want to donate and be considered for the prizes, please do so as soon as possible and leave a comment here so that I know to enter you! Thanks again to everyone who already helped us to raise just over $2000... we are SO grateful for each of you!

Happy May Day!!

Today our first-born Breanna turns 15... and this morning we got this precious little ray of sunshine photo of our Khloe from one of the interns at NewDay (Jess)... we think she is as pretty and bright as a May Day basket, so we just had to share!! Breanna and Dawson are both SO proud of their mei mei and can't WAIT to bring her home!! Celebrating both of our daughters today! God is good!! :)

Thanks to everyone who is still helping us out and spreading the word. We continue to be blessed beyond measure by thoughtfulness of ALL of you who are helping us to bring our Khloe home. Thank you for being a part of her story and a part of our journey to our daughter. May God richly and abundantly bless you in return!
